Rachel Brombaugh is the Washington State Managing Director for PACE Equity, providing funding for resource efficiency and resiliency improvements for commercial retrofits and new construction.
Prior to joining PACE Equity, Rachel served as the Director of Climate and Energy Initiatives for King County Executive Dow Constantine, developing policy, programs, and partnerships to achieve a low-carbon future. During her tenure, she led the development and operations of King County’s PACE program.
Rachel brings over a decade of finance experience to the team. She began her career in commercial lending, transitioned to high-risk banking, then specialized in project finance for efficiency and renewable projects in the energy services industry. Combining her banking background with her clean energy policy experience, Rachel works to develop innovative solutions that align goals with economic benefit.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Washington Foster School of Business. She lives in Seattle with her husband and enjoys skiing, hiking, and kayaking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
