Lawton Johnson is Senior Originations Director at PACE Equity Finance, based in Austin, Texas, and serving clients nationwide. He brings more than a decade of commercial real estate lending experience, including six years focused on C-PACE financing.
Before joining PACE Equity Finance, Lawton was Assistant Vice President of Originations at a national C-PACE provider, where he originated more than $50 million in C-PACE financing and built his pipeline through a network of capital partners and industry relationships. He has extensive experience structuring C-PACE as part of project capital stacks, with a background spanning credit underwriting, diligence, documentation, and closing.
Lawton also served as Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager at SouthStar Bank. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business.
