Brian Goray brings expertise in financial structuring, investment analysis, and sustainability gained throughout his 30-year career of leading real estate projects. He has focused experience in development, finance, investment and management while working with a wide range of real estate product types successfully.
Brian is the Connecticut Managing Director for PACE Equity.
Brian began his career underwriting mortgage bond issues for an investment bank. He also served as a sell-side equity research analyst, covering financial institutions and real estate investment trusts, before getting into real estate development. He then worked for and partnered with a private equity investor focused on brownfield remediation, environmentally-responsible development, and urban redevelopment Recently, Brian structured two senior housing development projects and served lenders and investors in creating value among distressed assets.
Brian holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar. He has guest lectured for graduate-level real estate and planning classes, and has served as speaker and panelist for real estate industry conferences.
Brian currently serves on the Board of the Farmworker Children’s Center, Inc., a 501(c)(3) serving the educational and social needs of children in the agricultural community.
