Karl Peer is a Low Carbon Energy Advisor for PACE Equity.
As a Low Carbon Energy Advisor, Karl is responsible for aiding in every stage of the energy engineering process. He performs detailed analyses of project building systems, creates energy models, researches local building and energy codes, produces project impact reports, and analyzes projects for CIRRUS Low Carbon verification.
Karl is a building science expert with over a decade of experience as a third-party inspector. In 2013 he founded Peer Energy, a third-party inspection brand for Energy Companies, Developers, and Construction Companies. He has performed over 3000 inspections of residential, multifamily, and commercial buildings.
Karl is active in the Florida green certification community. He is a member of RESNET and the Florida Green Building Coalition. In addition, he has served as co-chair of the High-Rise Committee for the FGBC and is currently serving in the Homes and Standards Committee.
