PACE Equity serves Stamford and the state of Connecticut with commercial real estate financing using Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) loans. The state of Connecticut allows this financing option to encourage energy efficiency in the local building stock. The C-PACE financing can be used for new construction, redevelopment, renovation, refinancing, and renewable energy projects. Our firm provides C-PACE loans for up to 30% of the capital stack (or 100% for solar and other renewable energy projects). Connecticut’s C-PACE program is administered by Connecticut Green Bank. PACE Equity financing in Connecticut is available for nearly any class of commercial property including offices, houses of worship, and nonprofits. Retroactive refinancing is available for projects 12 months after project completion. Financial terms can last up to 25 years.
