PACE Equity also Recognized at the Maturing level within the SBC Green Masters Program® for Achieving Sustainability Goals Internally
The Sustainable Business Council (SBC) announced the winners of the 2025 Sustainable Business Awards, honoring individuals and organizations leading the way in sustainability, innovation, and leadership. Our own Glen Heitkamp, Vice President of Engineering & Building Optimization, has been recognized as the Executive Sustainable Leader of the Year.
Glen Heitkamp has been a driving force in advancing sustainable commercial real estate through his leadership of PACE Equity’s in-house engineering program. Glen leads the company’s in-house team, whose work has supported more than 175 commercial real estate projects with measurable building savings and advanced energy efficiency measures.
In addition to the leadership award, PACE Equity was recognized at the Maturing level within the SBC Green Masters Program®. This designation recognizes businesses that are actively prioritizing sustainability. The Maturing status indicates that a company is engaging in sustainability, has identified and is improving its performance in key material issues, and is integrating systems to manage that performance.
By achieving Maturing status in the Green Masters Program through our corporate actions and product offerings, we are taking meaningful steps to drive energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. We continue to build partnerships with organizations that share our mission to advance the conversation around lower-carbon buildings.
