PACE Equity Founder Participates in Business Journal Making Buildings Better Panel

PACE Equity Founder & President Beau Engman recently participated in an expert panel on the topic of energy efficiency in commercial buildings, hosted by the Milwaukee Business Journal.

The panel, entitled Making Buildings Better: What’s being done locally to reduce energy consumption, also featured Rose Buss from the City of Milwaukee Eco Collaboration Office, Bill Jackson from Johnson Controls, Mark Nicholson from 250 East Wisconsin and was moderated by Tracy Johnson from the Commercial Association of REALTORSWisconsin.

The panel focused on what resources are available to business owners who are interested in reducing their energy spend. Topics from the panel included what technologies building owners should consider, how they can obtain support for their project through the Better Buildings Challenge and financing through PACE or Property Assessed Clean Energy. You can also hear from a building owner who has drastically reduced their energy costs, added NOI and attracted new tenants by embarking on an equipment replacement project.
