LEED Certified Buildings Qualify for Lowest Rates

USGBC Partners with PACE Equity

USGBC recently published an article featuring PACE Equity’s groundbreaking CIRRUS C-PACE Financing solution.

Projects on the path to a LEED Silver certification (or higher), or recently completed LEED Silver projects, automatically qualify for the lower-cost CIRRUS capital. The program unlocks funds for projects of all types, including multifamily, office, industrial, hospitality and senior living buildings.

CIRRUS C-PACE financing can cover major renovations, redevelopments, rehabs, retrofits and renewable energy projects. Funding amounts are determined by the costs of eligible measures, including all building components that impact utility costs, such as windows, HVAC, elevators, envelope, lighting, water heating and, in some states, resilience measures. Recently renovated LEED projects are also eligible for PACE Equity funding using CIRRUS C-PACE for refinancing.
